Staff review the referral, clarify needs and consent, and discuss support or other resources. Initial contact is generally within one business day.

Will I Receive Case Updates?

Do not assume that CIS can share case updates with you. Ask about the person’s permission and the appropriate communication process before requesting information back.

A referral does not guarantee eligibility, placement or program enrollment. CIS is not an emergency response service.
